New late-night speakeasy has launched on Wood Street
LIVERPOOL’s newest cocktail bar has opened on Wood Street following a sparkling launch party, which featured a Pornstar Martini fountain.
In the run up to the opening, the bar’s owners had hidden 200 keys around Liverpool. Those lucky enough to find one were offered VIP entry to the launch party. Some of those keys even unlocked a special padlock offering the finder free drinks on future visits.
Dirty Little Secret offers ‘suave, sophisticated, perfectly mixed drinks’; from the classic Bourbon based Dirty Old Fashioned, to innovative late night creations such as Cereal Thriller made with Vodka, Frangelico, Vanilla and Cacao Liqueurs topped up with fresh cream and Nutella (pictured).
Their cocktails menu also features a Ribena Daiquiri as well as a Big Fat Zombie with comes with passion fruit, pineapple and a sparkler. They will also offer bottles of spirits for the table to share, as well as a special deal on shots with four for £10 (on Jaegermeister, Sambuca and Tequila.)
They’ve kept things simple with the food, offering stomach-lining pizzas in either Margherita or Pepperoni varieties for £5.
Liverpool’s newest cocktail bar and lounge is hidden in plain sight at 18-22 Wood Street. Open every Thursday-Sunday, from 9pm–4am. Entry is free.
